March 23, 2011 - Ovid-Elsie Area Schools will be closed on Wednesday, March 23rd due to hazardous driving conditions and power outages. With the pending bad weather still coming this afternoon and evening, the Ovid-Elsie Middle School parent- teacher conferences for the middle school will be canceled for today and rescheduled for Thursday, March 31st from 3:30 to 5:30 and 6:30 to 8:30. February 2, 2011 - Due to severe weather conditions, Ovid-Elsie Area Schools will be closed Wednesday, February 2. All athletics and after school programs are also canceled. February 1, 2011 - The varsity boys and girls home basketball games vs. Chesaning will both be played at 6:00 pm. The boys game will be played in the HS main gym. The girls game will be played in the HS auxiliary gym. Hoopla that was scheduled for halftime is cancelled. Hoopla is rescheduled for Friday, February 11. On February 11, K-1 kids will play during the varsity girl's halftime and the 2-3 kids will play during the varsity boys' halftime. The February 11 Hoopla girls' game will begin at 6:00 and the boys' approximately at 7:30 p.m. Water aerobics is cancelled tonight. The swim meet at Williamston is cancelled. December 14, 2010 - Closed again due to continued inclement weather and poor road conditions. We will do our best to find a reschedule date. The Kindergarten Christmas Concert that was scheduled for this evening is also cancelled. MS wrestling is cancelled.
